SISKOP2MI is the official government system for migrant worker placement and protection. Search for a company to see its licence status.
Warning signs of fraud
- You are asked to pay a "placement fee" or deposit outside the rules. Migrant workers may not be charged placement costs (Law 18/2017, Art. 30).
- The vacancy does not state a destination country and SIP2MI number, or the company is not registered on SISKOP2MI.
- You are promised guaranteed departure or acceptance without employer selection.
- You are asked to travel on a tourist or visit visa to work.
- You are approached by an individual or broker. Individuals are prohibited from placing migrant workers (Law 18/2017, Art. 69).
