Will I be charged placement fees?
Under Law No. 18 of 2017, Article 30, Indonesian migrant workers may not be charged placement costs. Details are set by the national migrant worker agency (KP2MI). If anyone asks you for fees outside these rules, do not pay and report it to us.
How do I know an overseas vacancy is genuine?
Every vacancy on this site shows the destination country and its SIP2MI permit number. You can verify the company and its placement permits on SISKOP2MI.
What is the minimum age to work overseas?
At least 18 (Law No. 18 of 2017, Article 5). Some countries and employers may set additional age limits.
Which documents do I need?
See the full list on the Process & Requirements page. You do not need to arrange a work visa yourself; it is processed after you pass selection.
We are an overseas employer. How can we work with BIJAK?
Send your workforce requirements (job order) to our email. We will support verification and licensing in line with Indonesian government regulations.
